2. Description of Service

DocuSmartly provides free online PDF tools including splitting, merging, compressing, editing, signing, protecting, converting, OCR, and CV/resume creation. Most tools process files entirely within your web browser.

3. Free and Paid Services

• Free tools: All core PDF tools (compress, merge, split, sign, convert, OCR) are free to use without limits or sign-up requirements.
• Premium features: Certain CV/resume templates may require a one-time purchase or subscription. Prices are displayed in INR (₹) before purchase.
• GST: Where applicable, prices include or are subject to Goods & Services Tax (GST) per Indian tax law.

3a. Eligibility & Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use DocuSmartly. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to make any paid purchases. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Not use the Service to process files that contain illegal content
• Not use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Provide accurate information when creating an account

5. Intellectual Property

• Your files: You retain full ownership of all files you process using DocuSmartly. We claim no rights over your content.
• Our Service: The DocuSmartly website, tools, code, design, and branding are owned by DocuSmartly Team and protected by copyright law.
• CV Templates: Purchased templates are licensed for personal and commercial use. Redistribution or resale of templates is prohibited.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Conversion results will be 100% accurate in all cases
• The Service will meet all of your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuSmartly and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, file corruption, or business interruption.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep DocuSmartly available at all times, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues without prior notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable consumer protection laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
