Mask your Aadhaar before sharing it
Hotels, landlords, offices and apps often ask for an Aadhaar copy. A masked copy shows only the last 4 digits (XXXX XXXX 1234), so your full number is not spread around. This tool also covers the QR code, which holds your details.
How to use it

FAQs
Is my Aadhaar uploaded? No. Reading and masking run in your browser. Your Aadhaar never reaches our server or any AI service.
Why do I have to check the preview? Automatic detection can miss a number on a blurry, tilted or glare-covered photo. Your eyes are the final check.
Can someone remove the black box from the PDF? No. The PDF is saved as flattened images, so the hidden digits are gone, not just covered.
Is a masked Aadhaar valid? UIDAI itself offers a masked Aadhaar download, and it is widely accepted for identity checks. Some services need the full number; ask them first.
